The main features of inTouch are listed below. Other EPOS systems may offer some of these features but none can compete with Integer’s combination of a) being so easy to use, b) being so flexible, with a huge number of options that allow operators to adjust the system to their style of operating, and c) offering clear, jargon free, assistance from a highly experienced support team.
First Point of Contact
- Instant Caller Recognition - when an existing customer calls, their address details, their order history and the store menu appear on the screen - before the end of the first ring.
- If a customer withholds their number, you can quickly search and find them by their name or address.
- Post code look-up - when a new customer calls, simply ask for their postcode and inTouch will fill in their address - you only need to touch a button to add the house number or name. Next time the customer calls, the system will recognise them instantly by their telephone number.
- If a new customer cannot tell you their postcode, you can find their address quickly by street name.
Taking an Order
- Fast touch screen ordering - no keyboard or mouse required (although you can use them if you really want to!).
- Clear and straightforward order taking but not too fast for the personal touch - add toppings, fillings or dips, half pizzas, cooking instructions, quickly and easily.
- Automatic meal deals - no need to reach for a calculator.
- Manual discounts by amount or percentage - for authorised personnel.
- Repeat a customer's last order with one touch on the screen
- Selling prompts - such as "Would you like a drink with your order?" Prompts will only appear if, in this case, a drink has not been selected, to avoid annoying the customer!
- Dual pricing available for delivery/takeaway or for takeaway/restaurant.
- Different pricing available by time of day, for example "Happy Hour".
- Items with open pricing available - the system will ask at the point of sale.
- The on-screen menu is flexible and can be amended at anytime - you are free to add or remove dishes, change prices, re-arrange the layout, you have full control.
- Pause function - if appropriate, for example if customers are arguing over a large order, you can pause a delivery order to take an order in-store, or pause a takeaway order to take a telephone order.
- If you charge for delivery, the charge will be calculated automatically - haven't you thrown that calculator away yet?
- Credit card payments over the telephone can be processed on-line via our secure payment partner YESpay. (Optional) This removes the need for a PDQ terminal in the store and is much faster and more convenient for the operator.
Food Preperation
- Clear orders printed for the kitchen - you can either print the full order on one printer or send parts of the order to different printers, e.g. one for starters, one for pizzas, one for the bar.
- Special cooking instructions are highlighted on the kitchen printer.

- Select drivers for deliveries in rotation or at random.
- Send a text to the customer automatically as the driver leaves the store, for example, "Your Perfect Pizza is on the way, please have £17.50 ready!". (Optional)
- Delivery status - if a customer calls to ask when their order will be delivered, a screen appears instantly showing how many minutes since the driver left the store.
- Performance indicators - on screen display showing average "Make Time", "Out the Door Time" and "Delivery Time" this shift, colour coded to show if they are ahead of target, on target or behind target.
- Driver payment screen shows exactly how much is owed by each driver at any time - drivers can pay after one delivery, after several or at the end of the shift.
